HANDS
When hand veins are treated with sclerotherapy they tend to require a more concentrated sclerosing solution but with less sessions than comparable to the veins in the legs. We use the sclerosant solution called Sotradecol. Unlike sclerotherapy for the legs and face, (which eliminates unhealthy veins), Sotradecol induces an inflammatory reaction which causes the vein to seal shut and gradually shrink away.
Final results will be seen in six to twelve weeks of initial treatment. Each vein may need two or three treatments. Only one vein is treated at a time because all veins may not need to be treated. Once treated, other veins become less apparent due to reduced pressure. We offer free consultations where we can discuss treatment options designed to meet your lifestyle and budget.
After the treatment, compression is applied using an ace bandage for 24 to 48 hours; this is to reduce natural bruising which will subside in your normal time frame.
The procedure is not expensive. The fee is based on the number of veins treated, not the number of treatments, doctor visits or injections given. This makes treatment costs very reasonable. Judging from the satisfaction of our patients, its money well spent.Hand vein sclerotherapy offers a safe, effective and virtually painless way to have younger, feminine looking hands. The results are dramatic and long lasting.

FACE
Visible facial veins usually appear on the nose, cheeks and side of the face. These visible veins are associated with excessive sun exposure, normal aging, steroid use, liver disease, genetics, radiation therapy, and trauma. Visible facial veins are often considered to be a cosmetic issue. The appearance of facial veins may also be due to another skin condition called rosacea.
Due to the advances made by technology, treating facial veins is easy and effective. While facial veins do carry blood, they are not part of the venous valve system and therefore, removing them can be done without causing any harm. Here is an overview of the different treatment options available for veins on the face:
Laser treatment for facial veins- Lasers are sources of high energy broadband light to burn the capillaries while the body absorbs the remains. Laser treatment are typically done at 4 to 8 week intervals. Over time the veins disappear. There is minimal recovery time, several treatments may be required.
Sclerotherapy involves injecting a hardening or sclerosing agent to dissolve and remove facial veins.
