What To Expect When You Visit Guylaine Lanctôt Cliniques

Self-Improvement is an individual decision - and our doctors want to make sure that your choice is an informed one. Our physicians offer more than their technical skills to our patients; they make sure that all questions are answered and all options are explored. That is what has made the Guylaine Lanctot Cliniques so successful with thousands of patients over 25 years of service.

Patients are seen by appointment. If you make an appointment and are unable to keep it, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so other patients can be scheduled. You are encouraged to call our doctors or nursing staff with any questions. Physician callbacks will usually be made during office hours. When calling, please leave your telephone number, including area code, and where you may be reached.

Since we too, are concerned about the cost of quality medical care, we do everything possible to keep our fees reasonable. The Guylaine Lanctot Cliniques' philosophy has always been to keep patient costs down in order to serve as much of the population with quality healthcare as possible. Our billing and payment policies are summarized below:

Payment is expected for all routine visits at the time of service. This reduces administrative expenses and helps to contain medical costs. Your receipt includes all information needed for your insurance company to process your claim. For your convenience, we also accept personal checks, cash, Master Card, VISA, American Express, and Discover Card.

Varicose vein treatments due to circulatory problems, especially those resulting in pain, are generally covered by insurance. Vein treatments for cosmetic reasons are not generally covered by insurance. We will assist you in filing your claim. Some procedures may also be tax deductible medical expenses.

This Canadian born physician has helped over 100,000 people recover from the pain and suffering of varicose and spider veins. She is an internationally recognized expert in phlebology, past president of the American College of Phlebology, and simply an amazing woman. She has written, lectured and trained physicians around the world on the treatment of varicose veins, and in 1969, founded the Guylaine Lanctôt Cliniques in Canada and the United States to put her vast expertise into practice on a daily basis. Dr. Lanctôt is a visionary in the field of health issues, social issues and women’s issues and a woman who not only believes the world can be changed for the better, but goes right out and does it!

Quebec’s Woman of the Year in 1983, Dr. Lanctôt co-founded the "Quebec Businesswomen’s Association". This mother of four is the author of two books and is in great demand as a speaker and expert in the fields of healthcare and phlebology.

Dr. Guylaine Lanctôt is an entrepreneur with a spirit of adventure. Whether she’s leading a business conference, an international health conference or sailing across the Atlantic…she does it with the same style, grace and intelligence that is exuded by the success and high standards of her South Florida clinics.
 

Upon Dr. Lanctôt’s retirement, Conrad Goulet, M.D., accepted the reins of president of the Guylaine Lanctôt Cliniques in Florida in 1990. As medical director of all North American Guylaine Lanctôt Cliniques from 1986 to 2003, Dr. Goulet maintained the philosophy of quality medical care at an affordable cost. In 2003 after Dr. Goulet’s retirement, the role of president, medical director and now owner of the Guylaine Lanctôt Cliniques, was given to Carlos Gonzalez, Jr., M.D., who brought the latest ground breaking technology in vein care, while maintaining the integrity of the Cliniques.

In 2005 the Cliniques were acquired by Gabico Services, Inc. with Dr. Gonzalez staying on as Medical Director, whilie continuing to bring to the clinics his compassion and dedication to the field of advanced vein care.. Dr. Gonzalez oversees the treatment an average of 200 patients a week.

In addition to sclerotherapy, phlebology and venous surgery , our clinics offers advanced Cosmetic skin care, Botox, Restylane, skin rejuvenation and state of the art laser treatments.  We have also introduced innovative hair restoration for men and women through our Hair Restoration Center and we are the first in South Florida to offer Lipo Dissolve in our Lipo Dissolve Centers.

Dr. Gonzalez is trained in Surgery and Pediatrics having earned his degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical College he went on to his surgical residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and Pediatrics at Miami Children's Hospital. Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in Florida and a fellow of the American College of Phlebology.
